Beining Liu
Welcome to my webpage!
I am an incoming PhD student in Economics at New York University Stern School of Business. My research interests lie in economic history, political economy, and applied microeconomics. I am particularly interested in how historical shocks, informal institutions, and state-society interactions shape long-run economic and political outcomes.
Before my PhD studies, I earned an MS in Quantitative Economics at NYU Stern, an MEcon at HKU, and a BEcon at the University of International Business and Economics.
